We highly valuate the support of charities. We find it very important to take our responsibility to contribute to these causes. We do so by supporting local and national charities. Annually NewCakes sponsors staff for sport events that collect donations for charity. At the annual [Z]aan de Wandel we fight against breast cancer and we also participated to the Run for Kika, to make a difference for children with cancer.
We see these events as the perfect opportunity to contribute to a good cause and combine this with spending a fun and motivating day together apart from our daily work activities. Our colleagues appreciate it to commit together in an active way to a good cause and that’s something we as a company can only stimulate.

Sustainability is a top priority at FunCakes. Reducing material usage and improving the reusability of packaging play an important role in this. That’s why some of the jars are being updated to a more sustainable packaging design.
